In memory of the assistant Head of Neston School Esther Johnson, who died in 1817. The Head Mistress of Neston & Parkgate, Mary Ann Kerns who died in 1886, is remembered in two lights that were added in 1888

Maker: Heaton Butler and Baynes 1875 Design: In the design of Henry Holiday Subject: Depicts biblical stories of the sea The window was erected by Commander John Monk RN (1791-1880). After many heroic acts in the Napoleonic wars, he was discharged with a severely injured hand and blind in one eye. Not surprisingly he was known locally as “Nelson”. Brass plates in the window reveals, commemorate him and over twenty previous members of his family, the first being born in 1701
